Sound of Cinema - Cities - Urban Landscapes

Cinema's urban landscapes can be threatening and challenging. Matthew Sweet introduces film music evoking the darkness and the light of the city including "Metropolis" and "Bladerunner".

The Classic Score of the Week is Anton Karas' "The Third Man" and the programme also features music from "La Dolce Vita", Jacques Tati's "Playtime"; "The Dark Knight Rises"; "Roman Holiday" and "Wings of Desire".
