Sound of Cinema - Folk Tales
Matthew Sweet features film music inspired by the folk tale in the week that sees the UK release of Isao Takahata's acclaimed Studio Ghibli animation The Tale of the Princess Kaguya.
The programme also includes music from "The Company of Wolves"; "The Brothers Grimm"; "Blancanieves"; "Belle et la Bete"; "Excalibur"; "King Arthur"and "The Secret of Roan Inish".
The Classic Score of the Week is Erich Korngold's "The Adventures of Robin Hood".
