Vicky McClure’s best mate is her hairdresser, Louis Byrne. They first met on a photo shoot and bonded over their shared experience of growing up working class in Northampton in the 90s. Not only has he been responsible for her fabulous hair ever since, but they have shared the best nights out, been there for each other at their darkest moments and they even have matching onesies!

Cat and Edith hear how different Vicky is to her on-screen characters and how Louis encourages her to try new things, even if that does mean going to boot camp. Vicky shares the embarrassing moment she had when working with Madonna and Louis reveals the secret to Vicky’s iconic quiff!
