Roy Plomley's castaway is pop singer Cliff Richard.
Cliff talks about growing up in India and discovering that he had a talent for music; how it feels to leave his teenage years behind him and his intention to embark on his next movie role - a more serious part - in a thriller by Margery Allingham. He confesses to homesickness for Britain during five weeks in America, describes how he deals with fans who want to grab a piece of him and how he came up with the name "Cliff Richard".
