Frazzled parents Jonathan Overend (BBC Radio 5 Live) and Deborah James (You, Me and the Big C) hear from listener Laura who is concerned about her son who is acting out and refusing to leave his bedroom. They are joined by Christian Foley, a teacher and poet who deals with extremely challenging, and sometimes violent, behaviour. Christian works to engage children who have been lost in the education system with music and poetry. He gives some practical advice for parents on building communication with difficult teenagers and his top tips for resolving conflict and building trust.
