His wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson, faces a trial of the facts on related charges of aiding and abetting, which she has denied. Eleanor Donaldson’s barrister has asked a jury to “bring an end to this nightmare for her and find her not guilty of all the charges she’s facing.”
