This year's Nobel Peace Prize has gone to Navi Pillay - a former UN human rights chief and International Criminal Court judge.

The chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee said the South African had been instrumental in ensuring that war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide were prosecuted. We'll hear from a friend and colleague who was with her when the news came through.

Also in the programme: The US defence secretary says the execution of an Army officer convicted of killing several soldiers will be livestreamed; a giant wine heist in Italy; and a giant waterlily from Colombia.
