Newshour - Tech shares tumble worldwide

Technology shares across the world have plummeted over concerns of a slowdown in AI development in the US. Newshour debates the rights and wrongs of data centres.

Also in the programme: Paraguay's banking scandal; and the harmful effects of space weather.

Correction: In this programme we referred to a demonstration in the Netherlands where 100 protesters broke into a Microsoft data centre construction site in Amsterdam. We wrongly implied that the NGO Global Action Plan was coordinating this protest. However, the direct action at the data centre in the Netherlands was not coordinated or promoted by the Global Action Plan campaign.
