In July 2009, a group of doctors in Sri Lanka said they had overestimated the number of dead and injured in the Tamil enclave in the final days of the war. Dr Thurairajah Varatharajah was working inside the Tamil area as government forces closed in. Hear his memories of the fighting, and the bizarre press conference he was required to take part in after the killing had stopped.
