Dance programmes for pupils aged 9 - 11. Dance Workshop aims to support non-specialist teachers who have no previous experience of teaching dance or movement. It offers opportunities for your group to explore a wide range movement types, responding to a range of stimuli including music, poetry and story. There are structured opportunities throughout the programmes to move solo, in pairs or in groups and also to appraise the work of the group as a whole. The website also includes separate music files so that you can give polished performances of the dances once you have finished rehearsing them. Dance Workshop is an ideal way to fulfil the dance objectives of the PE curriculum at Key Stage 2.

Primary Music KS1

Primary Music KS1 offers music resources to support the Key Stage 1 music curriculum. The resources emphasise songs and singing and often have strong cross-curricular links to other subjects, especially Literacy. Audio content is available to download at any time as mp3 files and can be used from a computer or other device. The supporting resources include Teacher's Notes giving guidance on how to use the resources and a range of audio and video resources, including the full-vocal and backing track versions of all the songs and also copies of the music as pdf files. There are also suggestions for appraising music and simple composition. It's an ideal resource for delivering the KS1 music curriculum while engaging children with a range of other topics.
