Software Defined Radio makes high-specification receivers affordable at last.
Wanted to see the difference between DRM and AM audio on Radio NZ. AM audio begins @2:55.
Received from Auckland, New Zealand. Using the nooelec "Ham It Up v1.0" upconverter circuit, an R820T RTL2832 RTL SDR tv dongle with a random wire antenna about 15m long.
Used SDR Sharp as the software radio and DREAM as the DRM decoder.
